Sometime after the battle against the pure Majin-Boo, on Bulma's birthday on a cruise liner, it was crashed by the God of Destruction Beerus. In a battle against him, Trunks and Goten fused into Gotenks to combat him because he got angry for not being able to eat pudding because Boo ate it all. Gotenks was mad about this, so he transformed into Super Saiyan 3 and attacked Beerus, but he got ahold of his wrist and tapped it, causing his pain. Beerus then threw Gotenks into the ocean.[3]
Golden Freeza Arc
Sometime later, after Freeza was revived and trained for four months, Goten and Trunks fused and arrived at the Northern Capital, charging Tagoma in the crotch. Gotenks then set his eyes of Freeza, but he defused moments later.[4]
